Hello guys. I'd be lying if I weren't trying to up my post count so I can post in other forums *cough* so in the interim, I'm posting my concerns here. I apologize in advance for being a verbose .......; it's just how my train of thought works.

Topic A concerns 510-> 808 adapters or vice versa. I recently picked up a couple of 808 stick batts for work because they don't look weird. I got my Phoenixes running okay, but for me, they taste like doo doo before I empty it from the first fill. I've used the ones from both SI and GV, so its either all of my juices, or I'm dumb, or something else (another topic entirely, but if you got ideas, post about it!). There's a few other cartos I'm looking into for a consistent vape, but as 510 more or less runs the market, here's my issue. One of my sticks is auto, and I cannot use my adapter with it. The battery works fine with my 808 gear, but it seems the way the adapter is made is preventing airflow from getting to the battery itself. If I were a fiddly guy, I could easily dremel a couple notches into the battery end of the adapter, but I'm not a fiddly guy, because then I turn into a break things guy. If anyone knows where I can get an adapter that works out of the box with auto batteries, let me know. I got mine from GV, so don't suggest them because it won't work for my situation.

Topic B - The Ego C. I got one of these several months ago and it gave me a consistent, horse flavored vape. I messaged Phil (pbusardo) and he threw me some suggestions, which didn't really work for me. Still tasted like dung. I tried to burn the olympic pool of fluid they called primer off the heads but that didn't make much difference either, so off to the "I'll F with it later" pile it went. A couple weeks ago, I saw Phils "tank System Shootout" in which a bunch of Phil's cohorts decided the Ego-C tasted the best out of all tank systems... what.. how? I've GOT to be doing something wrong if 5 people, completely new to the Ego-C, thought they were great. If anyone had some ideas, let's hear em.

All in all, I've more or less found a bunch of all day vape juices for me, but I'm having trouble finding the gear that'll give me a consistent vape and/or not look totally bazonkers on a stick batt. If anyone has suggestions, I'm open to try anything at this point.

Hi and welcome! I don't know the answers to your questions, but wanted to say hi, anyway. I've been testing a lot of things out over the past month and a half. I've come to the conclusion there is no such thing as consistency in this vape business. I thought I had found the perfect solution with the Elite CE3 bottom coil clear cartomizer from altsmoke - man the vapor was like real smoke instead of steam and tasted so clean, but then a couple refills later, the leaking and sputtering and dry hit issues begin.
