I buy adapters all the time because some just don't work and they're too important a component to be stuck with a single, bad one. They're honkin' big height extenders to the 801, which is already a stovepipe but they do their job well. The bruiser on the left is from COV or madvapes and the diminutive cutie on the right from Good Prophets.
The tinies work just as well and until one of you tells me they're evil I'm going to use them. I point this out because I saw a 'stealth adapter' advertised on a site just last night for the whopping price of $5.95. I paid 99 cents for the one on the right.
The tiny adapter adds less height but was that height there for a reason? Is that extra space needed for...something?
