I just try to treat my PV like a real cig. I bring it outside with me. Don't use it much at my desk at work (we have customers in here sometimes which makes it easy to avoid using it). At home I don't like my son seeing me use it. So I just use it while watching TV and having a drink. It's like my special alone time. Haha. My wife doesn't mind cause it doesn't stink. And I like that I have been saving a ton of money. Oh yeah, in the car is big time for me. Constantly puffing. My carto's feel like they might melt.

I made a big mistake in buying a lot of tobacco flavoured liquid.

It only now occurs to me that i didn't ever smoke because it "tasted good". I think when i bought the liquid i was still thinking like a smoker. It did seem ok at first.
I'll be glad when i've used it all up. Then i can get me some tasty liquid. This tobacco flavour, while not as bad as real tobacco taste, is awful now. I think it's a sign that i'm moving away from analog replacement. And onto somewhere else.

Just think about it before you order too much tobacco flavour.

I was a 1/2 a pack per day smoker (Marb light 100s) and can't stop taking hits off this thing. I'm at 18mg right now and people (non-smokers) keep asking when I'm going to move to the 0mg. For me, that's not a concern right now. I'm just stoked that I haven't had a regular cig in almost 4 weeks and won't ever have one again!

Small steps that work for YOU, that is the key. Some of us here will never go to zero nic, and a good majority of those didn't start vaping to make that attempt. If heading to zero is a goal of yours, eventually you will get there. If not, enjoy where you are right now, cuz its far and away a better place than with an analog in your mouth! :)

That's great! You should feel stoked about it. You shouldn't worry about the nic level right now - the transition to e-cigs can be difficult for some, whatever is working for you is the best thing to do. non-smokers don't understand, and don't want to understand - if they keep bugging you, just tell them "yup i'm on 0 nic now, you happy now?" how the hell will they know the difference, lol. Keep up the good work!

That "when are you going to move to 0mg nic" question is driving me crazy!! I just received my PV and stopped analogs a week ago last Monday!! Give me some time, People!! LOL

I finally just started saying "Possibly never, but at least I'm not smoking a cig!!"

Thing is , i cant seem to put it down, i carry it from room to room, and find myself constantly using it.

Welcome to the club! I'm in the same boat, carrying it everywhere. I'm about to go into the garage to make a lanyard so I can just keep the Ego around my neck, then I can keep two others in my pockets! Seriously man, this is nuts but I'm loving it. I smoked for 35 years, converting to cigars back in '95, now thanks to my ego I haven't smoked in two weeks! (that say's alot for me). It's about tobacco flavor for me though, I have about 40 different flavors of all sorts now and I look forward to the mail everyday lately. I've ordered samples and carto's and this&that's from at least ten vendors (all good so far), sound familiar? Anyway, as a cigar smoker I like the tobacco flavors most right now. I'm enjoying each new cigar/tobacco flavor, mostly 26/36mg nic, having a great time mixing those with some all vg tobacco flavors too. I find that somewhere between 70/30 pg/vg and 50/50 works best for me. I haven't been spending much time with fruity/nutty/coffee stuff yet, but i'm sure it will come as my taste buds come back. It's funny how the pineapple I tasted first (crappy) turns out a week later to be really nice! Sorry for the ramble, just a few thoughts from another noobie. Have fun!
