First off, this forum is a trove of information! Been searching & reading it for a while now. Just didn't have a reason to sign up until now :p Searched for an answer to my question and poured through a few hundred search results. Found answers on mixing from base liquids, but not pre-flavored.

Not new to vaping and have mixed a bit on my own with mediocre to "not bad" results.

Tried several liquids from around the net, most PG based. Ordered some VG liquid from americaneliquidstore. Flavor is really good, vapor level is good, but the throat hit is, well non-existant as is expected from a VG fluid.

Luckily, there's a place locally that sells food grade (kosher) propylene glycol, so I have that taken care of :)

Now, my question is: With a pre-flavored VG liquid, how do I go about adding PG to the mixture to get a good throat hit.

I realize I will have to order the corresponding DIY flavor concentrate from americaneliquidstore as adding PG to the pre-flavored VG liquid is going to dilute both the flavor and nicotine.

My question is how much PG and flavor concentrate to add?

I'd like to hit an approximate level around 70% PG to 30% VG.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I'd hate to waste the liquid I bought lol :)

I'm sorry to say that you are probably not going to increase throat hit on the liquid you have. You can simulate it a bit by adding a little bit of Everclear or strong vodka.

You will need a calculator, there is an online one here: e-Juice Calculator | ecigexpress

Your best option is to order the same flavor in 100% PG if you already have it in 100% VG. Even mixing them 50/50 will help quite a bit.
