Adding photo's?

I suspect you're attempting to link photos in a manner that's not in line with how it's done. When you go to the image, you'll see a box on the right that contains links that you can use to embed it into a post. That's the preferred method and the one you should be using.

Had the syntax for GALLERY and IMG right. Def need to pull it off the image page for thumbnails as you say. Remembered seeing that somewhere. Thanks for the link to Rolly's post. Preciate that ret.

But my main question's still...where are (posted) uploads goin'? And how can we get to 'em? Is there a way to get 'em from the post to the gallery? Thought that when we posted they'd get tossed into a main file somewhere just like in vBull.

You'll have to save from a post and then upload them to your gallery. There is no central "repository" that is accessible by members.

Had the syntax right for IMG and GALLERY, def not for the thumbnail (each one pulls a unique id string). Made the mistake of copying and deleting some thumbnails. When I deleted the, it purged the contents of the Category. Obviously they're linked internally to the original images even when duplicated or copies. So good advice XenForo needs to write image descriptions which as you say are all there on the image page.

With vB I was picking up image links from wherever they were handy.
