PEG400 is an alternative to PG or VG. It's use is less common in e-liquid, and I don't think many suppliers carry it, but I have been using it in a few mixes recently. TW sells it (but don't think they deliver to Canada) PolyEthylene Glycol-PEG-400-60ml

great info +post !

i read somewhere peg400 was to break the stigma
of original "bad" pg tests?

also dow chem makes both peg400 + the pg !

papa lazarou, any noticable pro/cons w/ peg 400 ?

thanks as always....

What are you vaping for juice? What is the PG/VG ratio? In General PG = more TH, VG = more Vapor. I have found 80%PG/20%Vg to be my sweet spot

Nope. PG provides no throat hit. Try vaping PG by itself.

Nicotine causes the throat hit, plus other liquids, such as, ethyl maltol, Qhit, and menthol crystals (I believe, but I don't vape menthol and haven't researched this one), among a few.

Higher voltage causes an increased throat hit but can also burn the mouth, roof, throat, and lungs, if five volts is used all the time.

Hummmmmm, at the same nic level, PG will add more throat hit than VG.

It works quite well but it has a different taste to it. I think it goes well with tobacco's, especially if you like non sweet tasting tobacco's. To me, a PEG400/PG blend mixed at around 24mg seems to give a strong throat hit, stronger I think than PG only, and certainly VG only. I think the general opinion is that it doesn't work so well with sweeter flavours - fruity flavours or most food flavours in general. It might dry the mouth more. Also it seems to like new atomizers rather than ones that have been well used.

As for TW shipping to Canada, I guess they were having problems with shipments being stopped, maybe.

What other liquids were added besides PG, VG, and flavoring? There are other liquids that will produce throat hits besides nicotine, as I mentioned above.

Bubble Gum flavoring (if I were to guess...near 6%). 50/50 PG/VG. A few menthol crystals. Tastes like Bazooka bubble gum. Just missing the comic.
