I am still hesitant to mix my menthol crystals from wizard labs.. Some people eyeball the measurement and say fill a 10ml bottle halfway then add pg to top of crystals, others say crush it up and fill to just under halfway in a 10ml bottle.. I haven't decided how I will mix it. Part of the reason why is because I wouldn't know how to add it using a calculator. I want to compensate however many drops I add to a flavor mix with the total ingredients. If I just add drops to a premixed mixture, the percentage of nicotine, flavor and other ingredients would be affected (reduced). Does anyone have a guideline to follow? How to mix the crystals and what the percentage base of the crystals would be?

There are some good youtube videos on mixing crystals. I personally fill up a 30ml bottle half way and fill it up the rest of the way with Everclear (PGA-Pure Grain Alcohol). I got the idea from a YouTube video. It is good. Good luck to you and happy vaping.
I mixed 1 gram of crystals (~1/2 teaspoon crushed if you don't have a scale) in10ml of PG as WL suggests here:
Menthol Crystals - 15 grams (WL)
One tip, I warmed the mix in a hot water bath to help desolve the crystals.

PS I add it to the mixes sparringly, a few drops at a time.
Edit That would be a 10% Menthol mix. You would put it in your calculator as a flavor and it would count towards your PG%. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the input guys so at a 10% mix, what is the min/max percentage on calculator people tend to do? I think I saw 1%-3% somewhere before..
I also read people saying less is better, because you can always add more. But to maintain the ratio of nicotine and other ingredients, it seems like adding more of one thing would mean adding more of everything.

33 Grams Menthol Crystals USP dissolved in 21.25 ml. Everclear (PGA). This will net Menthol 66% (by weight) Flavoring. Start at 1% or less in your DIY e-liquid.
