So I can't just use normal cotton Wool you buy for children ? It's totally different stuff ?

Yes you can use it, but many people have been using high end cotton pads, like Koh Gen Doh, which is for make-up removal. KGD has longer fibers and is said to be more pure. I used regular cotton (wool) without problems, except for a "cottony" taste for the first few drags.

Right ok I'll give it a go :) I'll get back to ya tell ya what I think , watch this space :)

It's all very confusing lol especially wen ure just used to buying things and using as is , and now all this nodding is here :)

Yes, it can be confusing! Keep in mind that cotton plumps when it gets wet, so less is more when using it as wicking material since too much can choke the coil.

Ok and another question what's the best wire to get to do a nano coil or which ever coil is the best ?

Can ya get it from local hardware store or have to be online?

You don't want wire from a hardware store. You want Kanthal, which is a resistance wire. It's been awhile since I rebuilt Protank heads, but I think I used 30g wire, or maybe 28g. I suggest you check out the videos again for build suggestions.

So do I have to buy kanthal online or can I go out to a shop and buy it I'm in the UK by the way

You might be able to find it in a vape shop if you have one near you, I am not sure where you would find Kanthal in it's natural surrounding (wire shop??).

As for buying it online, there is only one place that is reliable, fast shipping and decent product range along with being reasonably priced...

http://www.vape-atomizer-mesh.com/products/Kanthal-A1-Heat-Resistance-Wire.html

They have the complete range of Kanthal gauges along with some other bits and bobs, such as the fancy cotton for wicks etc.

For Protank rebuilds I would use either 32AWG or 30AWG, the space is limited and you probably want to keep the resistance around the 2ohm mark.
