Advertising guidelines (Hey, mods!)

I've been away for a while, and can't find an active mod to PM: I have a question about advertising a sort-of-service on the supplier forum in exchange for free or cheaper vaping supplies (broke student phoning in).

I'm not sure whether it would be against forum rules to make such a thread, so I just want to check with a mod first. Since spilling the beans on what that service would be might constitute an advertisement in itself, can't tell you what exactly it is I'd be trading...

Anyone done something similar? What are the guidelines?

Do suppliers hang out there? It wouldn't work with private persons as well, I don't think.
