Advice for a "new" user

Hi everyone!

Currently I use an e-cig called "supersmoker" which uses pre-filled cartridges and is automatic, however I've read on here it is considered expensive and lousy (true), so I'm making the change to a liquid device.

However please note that I live in a country where e-cigs are considered "illegal" so the less conspicuous the better. Also I'd like a device which is reliable as getting a replacement could prove rather difficult.

Currently I am interested in the Ovale Elips due to its size and look, is this a good choice? If not are there other devices you could suggest? I feel the eGo-T is a little too big and will draw too much attention if used in public.

Another question, I've read some devices have leaking problems. How do you minimize this? Can e-liquids stain clothing?

Hi and welcome.

The problem with going small is having to charge all the time and the eGo (or generic like the Riva) has good battery life.
The one I got isn't all that outrageously big but it's not the T.

Also if you are going to have problems getting stuff, I suggest getting into making Mods and DIY liquids.

Hi, thank you for the reply.

I thought to compensate for the battery I'd purchase a PCC too. Anyways I won't be using the device for more than 8 hours without having the ability to properly charge it.

Also I'm a little wary about DIY, I might inadvertently make some kind of harmful poison.

Nah! Follow the instructions, read up on it in the DIY section, and you'll be fine.

Matte black 510 with standard battery. Pop off the LED cap and pull out the LED. Glue the cap back on.

MRC, I do not think you want to get into mods yet, too big a jump while you also have to find a good e-juice, but maybe try a Riva 510 kit from E-Liquid and Electronic Cigarette Shop - Category Listings or E-Liquid. They also sell e-juice, but click "20% off" on top of US page if you go there.

The Riva will go 6 hours heavy vaping before needing charge, may last you a day or two. Try something like this first while you think about whether to build a mod. Good luck!

Ouch dude. If you haven't heard the term "stealth vaping" you may wanna look that up. Lots of people on the forum have given thought to vaping in places where it might not be allowed. The main idea of stealthing though, is that if you hold the vapor in your lungs a bit you exhale little or no vapor.

Something like a black Joye 510 and a longer than standard battery might be ideal, since it'd look kinda like a pen at first glance and if you're stealth vaping, it'd just look like you're chewing on a pen.

I could be wrong, but I don't see that is being significantly less conspicuous than an ego. Just my impression. It's sometimes hard to tell the size of things by pictures and videos.

Any device can leak if you overfill your cartridge or flood your atomizer. I'm guessing that the "leaking problem" you've heard of is in reference to devices with automatic batteries. Auto batteries are not sealed and juice can leak from the atty into the battery.

Also, to my experience e-juice washes out fine without staining.
