The hardware you are using (as you listed) will have little impact on throat hit. Adjusting your mg of nicotine is responsible for throat hit (and to a lesser extent, PG). PG is also the flavor carrier in juice.

If you want to improve throat hit with the tanks you have, I'd say move up to a regulated mod. My choice for cost vs functionality would be the vamo 35. Another possibility is better tanks. You could start to venture into the world of rebuildables as well. It's all about tuning your vape. The easiest way to tune it would be to adjust the wattage up a bit to whatever point makes you happy, but rebuilding (some nice rebuildable tanks out there unless you want to go straight dripper) is always an option. Also, nicotine level will increase throat hit but will(in my experience) lower either the vapor production or the flavor, usually its vapor production.

The evolution of your vaping will probably go something like this. Get regulated mod - enjoy for a while - want to try something more - experiment with drip or rebuildable tank attys - find a style you like - get either a stronger regulated mod or rebuilding on a mech mod - happy place.
