Hey guys. I'm looking to get my first rba.

Right now I'm used to re-coiling pro tanks and evods, but that is really all I have experience with.

Im looking for something that well priced (on the cheap side), sturdy, and won't give me a headache rebuilding (there is something out there like this, isnt there?)

It'd be cool to have several different RBAs recommended, with pros and cons respectively, but any info would help greatly.

Thanks guys :)

although the kayfun lite is a little pricey it is perhaps one of the best atomizers out there. there is a cheaper version called the Russian. these devices use the same general principal as the protank, the wick is at the bottom and is feed by the pressure of the juice through little channels. imo this is a great time for people just getting into rebuildables and the kayfun devices seem to be the easiest to master. just a short time ago genesis devices were the norm. I learned with genesis devices and still use them but they are, or can be a pain at first but they produce an awesome vape if done correctly. imo I would recommend the kayfun lite or the Russian.

Do you have a diameter in mind, or a particular mod you will be using? I really like the squid on ego batteries, dirt cheap, super easy to work with. The igo-l would look much better on a18650 type mod. I also like the octopus on the tapered cap tubes like a k100. I haven't taken the plunge on the kayfuns and other bottom fed tanks, so I can't speak to that. The ones I mentioned are all less than $15, and perform as well as you set them up. I have micro coils with cotton, and love it.

I went from recoiling EVOD/PT heads to buying an IGO-L rebuildable dripper. I use the same silica and Kanthal that I was using with the PT heads and it vapes like a champ.

It's cheap, well built, and is pretty easy to recoil and wick. Can't recommend it enough for someone new to rebuildables.

Thanks, but you said its a dripper? Like a drip atomizer? I hate those things...I do NOT like dripping. I want an RBA tank, at least in SOME capacity.

As for the batteries I'm using - right now I only have 2 eGo twists......but I will buying a new bat at the same time as the RBA (or before the RBA). I will probably be getting a VAMO v3, Innokin SVD, or Smoktech SID.

I went from protank to oddy clone. Good step if you like bottom coils. It's a little more intense on the set up but much better. I've got an oddity but if you got the cash go for a terminator. You can get ready wires for them, I build it just like a protank with short wick. Works great no leaking and wicks like a champ.. No more nasty dry hit with burning rubber grommet. Yuck.. I think that new fogged tank on ft looks cool but no experience with it.
