Hi, I'm new, and came upon this forum while trying to look for advice on how to fix an issue I'm having with my G6 mini-tanks. I registered, read the entire thread on G6 mini-tanks, then went to post... only to discover I was limited to this forum. So I apologize for the new thread but I don't see another way. Anyway, I have two questions w/regards to my mini-tanks (bolded the actual questions):
1) I saw in the other thread that the two main ways of avoiding burnt taste are making sure to keep the coils moist, not simply waiting for the wicks to draw up the liquid. Meaning turn it upside down every couple minutes to make sure the liquid gets to the coils. The second way was making sure you give the wicks time to get wet when you first fill a fresh tank. I wasn't doing either of these things so I think that may fix my problem entirely, however, I want to know: are there any other methods (or other types of clearomizers) that don't require this constant battle against burning? If I invested in a more expensive model, could I avoid having to deal with these sorts of "upkeep" issues entirely?
2) I'm still a little confused on how these clearomizers work. I have stared at them for hours and tried to figure out how I don't simply just suck up all the liquid into my mouth when I inhale but I'm stumped. Initially, I wouldn't pay much heed to the angle of the battery when I dragged my G6, but after getting liquid in my mouth a couple times, I decided to try to make sure that the mouthpiece was always above the tip, ensuring there is always a bubble of air at the top of the tank. That said, if I were to drag it at more of a horizontal angle, or even having the air bubble near the tip of the battery rather than the mouthpiece, would this actually work, or would it just lead to more liquid in my mouth? I guess I just don't see how I can inhale (anything but liquid) at all when the "holes" in the clearomizer are submerged entirely in the ejuice. Intuitively, it seems like that should block the airflow, but in practice it doesn't (at least not entirely) so I'm just wondering if someone could clear things up.
I know that was really long and I apologize. If anyone has some time to read and answer I'd really, really appreciate it though!
