Hello, I just received my G6 Starter kit from Halo. So far I'm happy with it but, even though I ordered the mini, I would like a more tapered or smaller mouthpiece. I've done some research and found mouth-pieces at Bloog that appear to be exactly what I'm looking for. (see link below)

However I'm not sure if Bloog cartos are the same size/diameter as my Halo G6 Cartos. Anyone out there who have tried both, or would know if the Bloog mouthpiece would fit on a G6 carto?

5-Pack Sanitary Plastic Mouth Piece Tips

Thanks!

No those are rather ungainly and look not very smooth. I recommend you try one delrin and one clear colored plastic drip tip from LiteCigUSA.com - I do not have a Halocigs G6 carto but I have used these in a Bloog (same as Volt) carto and Vapor4Life carto.

Here - the Delrin and transparent delrin drip tips (he has them in the cartomizers section)
KR808D-1 Cartomizers

The flat tip may or may not work (please let us know if it does - where did you get it?). If they are handmade like the lathed "swirl" aka "twist" drip tips, their o-ring may bulge out too much to fit in a carto. However, one of these days I am going to cut the o-ring off a twist one and try one or more little orthodontics rubber bands instead (Ebay). The issue is - if they cut the groove deeper for the o-ring, the handmade ones were snapping and breaking at the groove.

Where did you get the flat-tip one?

And if you get a colored one from LiteCigUSA and it does not fit in KR8 cartos just let him know. Out of 7 I got one yellow one did not fit and he replaced it.

dormouse, I ordered it from where you recommended – Litecigusa. Below is the link. Says that it will work with a KR808D-1, so it should work on the Halo G6 carto. The other one I ordered is the Transparent Delrin/Plastic Drip Tip in Clear.

Frank, I've only had the G6 Starter Kit for a couple days but the cartomizer, batteries and juice is light years better than my first kit and juice from v4L. No offense to v4L but something in their mix did not agree with me, whether it was the juice or filler in their carts. I'm still in the exploratory phase of vaping though… haven't found the right mix yet but I'm optimistic that this Halo kit will be the beginning of the end of analogues for me. I started vaping last year and it was not enjoyable enough to continue.
So recently I decided to give it another try and ordered a pack of G6 Malibu Menthol cartomizers for my old v4l KR808. Immediately I could tell they were far less harsh than the V4L carts. I'm a menthol smoker and dislike food flavors in my juice but the Malibu is extremely mellow, like a menthol mixed with a slight pina colada flavor. The quality of the G6 cartomizers prompted me to order the entire G6 kit. Since I already have the Malibu Menthol, I ordered the Menthol Ice carts. These are GREAT! What I like about Menthol Ice the best is that it doesn't really taste like anything at all but has a nice menthol kick to it. So to answer your question, I'd say Menthol Ice is my favorite. Also I just received TUNDRA from Johnson Creek today. It's a VG RedOak juice that I'm anxious to try after letting it settle/steep for a couple days.

I have not tried G6 cartos but I've tried the Bloog ones (and Smokeless Image cartos may now be the same as Bloog's <- and those are the two models identical style to G6). Vapor4Life WOW cartos are hotter and great if you want a lot of hit (which i do because I have worked my way down to pretty low nic). The Bloog cartos are smoother with an easier drag but run cooler (the coil seems to be further from the mouth) so they don't have as much hit. It depends what you want. As for batteries, I prefer the fully sealed end of the SmokelessImage/Bloog/G6 manuals but I much prefer the more standard size button of the Vapor4Life style (which si the original manufacturer Kanger style). juices - my main vapes are Vapor4Life WOW juices. Some of those juices are overflavored but I found two I like a lot and they are thin and leave no flavoring sediment. I can get 7-10 days use out of a carto (2-3 weeks for me since I alternate a pair)

I got the Malibu Menthol with my kit, I agree. That is some awesome stuff. I also tried the Captain Jack which is also good if you like a pipe tobacco taste, and I orered a 30ml bottle of Menthol Ice. Should be in any time now, can't wait to try it out.

Please let us know how the Johnson Creek VG performs on the G6 carto, I'm very curious about this. I know some say with these minis its best not to go >20% VG which makes sense to me, but hey, the proof is in the pudding

anxiously awaiting your results!

I filled a carto with Tundra and let it sit for a couple days. I honestly noticed no performance issues on my G6 Mini… I just wasn't a huge fan of the flavor. JC tends to taste a little syrupy to me. Excellent company though. I may revisit Tundra again soon to see if the taste has changed for the better.

I got 5 menthol ice cartos with my G6 starter kit, and that was some really tasty stuff, I might have to get a bottle shipped to me before I leave to alaska.

I have the prefilled cartos and 2 bottles of menthol ice. To me the prefilled taste way better. Not sure why. I'm using G6 blanks when filling my own. The flavor is not as smooth as with the prefilled.

The prefilled probably had steeped already, that would be my guess. I've noticed all of the Halo flavors I've tried change over about the ten days I've been using, for the better! They smooth out a bit, and the perfumey undertone they all have mellows out.

I was just wondering if going all VG/ high VG would end up wrecking the carto longer. Most people I talk to about their Halo kits seem to get obscene amounts of time (e.g. 3-4 weeks) out of their carts by keeping them wet and rotating, just wondering if this could be pulled off as readily with VG
