Your body will let you know if you have too much nic. Shakes, cold sweats, jitters. Will go away soon.
We're all different, so no way to say how much is "too much", but if you try to vape about as long as you took to smoke a cig, then take a break from it, there shouldn't be any problems. And if you decide that you want to vape constantly, just get juice with a lower nic level.
BTW, nic levels are given two ways. Most common is, for example, 18 mg, which is 18 mg/liter. It's sometimes given as a percent, so that would show as 1.8%. Same amount.
The juice itself is usually a mix of flavors, PG (propylene glycol, sometimes or once upon a time used in hospital ventilation systems as a disinfectant
) and VG (vegetable glycerine.) PG tends to enhance the flavor. VG tends to make volumes of vapor. VG is also thicker, and can sometimes cause wicking issues. An 80/20 or 70/30 PG/VG ratio is a good place to start, if you're ordering from somewhere that lets you specify the mix. Not always an option, though.
