After buying a generic 901 last year, I was quite satisfied with the results, apart from the odd cold atomiser / stuck battery,.

I used to drip directly onto the 901s atomiser, so will be looking at doing much the same.

Unfortunately I lost that kit so I am now in the Market for a new kit, but being out of the loop for a while I am unsure which kit to go for,.

I am looking to order from tecc

Do I just get another 901? Or maybe a 510 Titan? Or something else, I am not a heavy user.

What is the advantage of a manual battery?

Is it worth getting a drip tip?

Many thanks for your input.

hi lynx and welcome back!

The manual buttons are a HUGE improvement on the auto's IMHO. Better vapor, TH and taste, not to mention being able to vape without feeling as if you're sucking up a thick milkshake through a narrow straw! ;)

As for a kit, I'd suggest going with a 510 Ego, they're AMAZING!

Good luck!

Hey lynx!

The 510 is very popular and great for dripping. I'm sure you'd love it.

Manual batteries allow you better control (no risk of firing from noise or vibration), eliminate the need for primer puffs, and are safer for dripping since the battery is sealed.

I would think a drip tip would be a good investment - it's only a few bucks. And if you aren't going to use the carts, you might as well elminate the hassle of having to take them off and put them on when you drip.

I have a generic mini (comparable to evo), a Joye-tech 510, a generic KR808-D, a Nebula, a Modern Vapor (still sort of generic but less so) and I'm about to have a 901 and whatever else i get my hands on. Point is, I think a valid opinion on "the best" or the "should buy" comes from sampling and finding your own personal favorite. I love the joye-tech above the others, but each has one or two things that I love about it and therefore compels me to use more than one.

I don't think the hype over name-brand (if that's even accurate) is justified, but I think in this genre, individual vendors play more of a role in how the same product will pan out.

On the drip tip note, I'm about to experience that for the first time and I can say that specification wise, I'm all over it. If it works as marketed, then it'll surely be worthwhile over traditional dripping.

One major thing I've found is that to experiment is good and to stay stock is boring.

Things I consider when purchasing and becoming a repeat customer are shipping and purchase cost, shipping time, availability of customer service, quality of product, availability of accessories, time in business and of course, scalability of the product. So far I haven't found a company or product that matches all, but you can get the best you can and keep on scouting.
