I started about 3 months ago with an Ego V3 spinner and now the smell of my wife smoking is really starting to bother me :) I got her a V3 spinner also but everytime she tries it the battery is dead (because it's been a week or two). I'm not into pressuring someone at all but would like to have something for her that I can put on her desk that will work whenever she tries it. Is there a pass through mod I can get that I just plug in and it will always be at the ready?

Sometimes she just had a real cigarette and within a minute or two is lighting up another but she's not a chain smoker so I know it is just for something to do. Would like to have something always at the ready so she can get used to it and maybe give up the analog cigarettes entirely but it needs to last forever (neglected) so I'm thinking a mod that doesn't need a battery may be the answer? Is there such a thing?

iTaste VV3 from Innokin. Can be used as a passthru with the charging cord on the end and the other connected to an USB/wall adaptor or USB computer port.

She has to really want to do it for it to work. There is alot that is required to vape, charging batteries, cleaning tanks, changing coils, just to start, so you have to really want it to succeed. Be patient, maybe she will eventually be ready to join you in the healthier life of vaping.

Thanks... yes there is that and I guess that offline work is part of the problem. Personally I find vaping a lot less trouble than smoking (I was always looking for an ashtray or trying to find a lighter and of course you have to be somewhere you can smoke) so in some ways vaping is more convenient :)

I know this won't be the "norm" but recently I was in the the Hospital for surgery (which forbids smoking even in the parking lot) and the Doctor and Nurse saw my Vamo V5 and Aspire Nautilus sitting on the table next to my bed and asked is that one of those e-cigarettes? You know it's OK if you use that in here! I was shocked.

i agree the Innokin its the smartest choice for a lady ...Style & options

Thanks, I'll give that a try. It's usually while she is sitting at her computer she is chain smoking so there is a USB handy. Now I just have to find a tank that doesn't need to be refilled too often (and not as medieval looking as my Nautilus :)

Nobody wants to be "told" what to do. My S.O. has *finally* figured out for me to do something she wants, it has to be *MY* idea ;) Then I'm all fat, dumb, and happy to do it!

Took me 3-1/2 years from when I first tried e-cigs to finally put away the real ones. *I* had to *WANT* to do it. (Part of it was the guilt of having spent so much on vaping stuff that I couldn't justify buying more cigarettes.) Haven't quite broke even on cost of vaping v. cost of smoking, but I've added "hobby" aspect, so slightly higher cost is "justified" :D

If your wife (yours too, DJS) really wants to quit, she'll get there. Her timeline isn't going to be the same as yours. Help it become *her* idea, and she may come the way of the vape....

Wishing you the best....

My ol'lady had the same problem with dead batteries, I bought her a second spinner and a T3d tank for each flavor of juice she wanted to try, so she can switch when ever she wants, she has cut back from 2 packs a day to about 5 cig's. Good luck. She just ordered a vtr, she wanted one that fit her purse better. Works for me takes the same battery as my king:)

You could buy her a diamond studded device, that makes her look good in her jeans and it won't convert her until she's ready to convert.

My 10 year old son began pleading with us to quit about 2 years ago out of worry for our health.
I've been smoke free for almost a year.
Bought her her own starter kit in the color of her choice, all sorts of flavors from "cigarette flavored" to her favorite drinks, to favorite foods.

She still smokes a PAD.

I'm hoping when I announce my 1 year anniversary on Sept 23 (and reward myself with some new APV) that that will "jolt" her into reevaluating.
In the meantime I'll keep using that sexy pink mod she picked out and never used (it goes well with my complexion)

Well thanks for all the advice. We used to spend $800/month on cigarettes ($400 each), that's $9.600/year. It actually still feels strange to go and buy a carton for her (when she requests it) and not buy a carton for me. Lately I have gotten tired of the cost of e-liquid/e-juice and started mixing my own with great results. I recently imported 1 litre of liquid nic which has to be close to a life time supply as I'm slowly dialing back the amount of nic I put in the juice. I was vaping 36 when I switched then 24, then 18 and now I've settled (for a while) on 12 (sometimes 8 when I vape a lot like watching a movie). If I could find something that gives me that throat hit I could probably dial down to zero pretty quickly but I'm not concerned as I've done a lot of research and it seems nicotine is no worse than caffeine except that it is more addictive. I'm just glad to finally have freedom from smoking (after trying everything else like most).

I've actually gotten to the point where I enjoy vaping way more than smoking and if I try to have an analog cigarette it makes me sick.
