I was struggling to rebuild my coils and found Coil wrapping | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators to be immensely helpful. I could get a coil to fire but it was like it was really boiling and not vaporizing. This takes a lot of the guess work out of it. And the advance view calculates surface area to really show what i was actually shooting for. Built my first coils that were as good as the shop built coils when i first bought my dripper. Kinda weird I was able to dial in my fogger before i could get a dripper hitting that wasn't soggy.

Right, so I finally built a 1 ohm coil, or dual coil should I say. Parallel coils, 15 wraps, 25.5 gauge kanthal.
I must say, really not what I expected, really have to have the watts up high to get a good draw, takes a while to heat up and the taste is extremely dense which is good.
Think I'm gonna have to stick to lower resistance as this doesn't seem to be the way to go for me, strange considering everyone advises on higher resistance coil builds with these box mods.

Lol Tom I wouldn't recommend hooking that up to your iPad, not sure it would fire haha. I am unable to take pics yet but I have built a fair few coils now. Just experimenting as much as possible. I've only got 25.5 gauge kanthan at the minute so until I decide to spend yet more money on 28 I'm gonna stick to the lower resistance builds otherwise they take a little while too long to heat up lol. Thanks again for your help and advice
