Hello vapers :)
I have been vaping for three weeks now on an npro and a kr808d-1. I don't love the cartos that came with my kits. Any suggestions on cartos? Also I've poured over the forums for weeks now and have decided that I probally want a 510 and an E9. Please reccomend suppliers and should the 510 be a Joye or is generic ok? e-cig.com appears to be best priced on the E9, but I can't find any reviews on them. Thanks in advance for any input.

Hello Sandibri. Welcome to ECF.

Two excellent suppliers that carry the 510 are Cignot and Litecigusa. They may not be the cheapest, but they sell genuine Joye products and have a great reputation for customer service. I try to stick with genuine Joye products when possible.

Just a suggestion: Order the 510 first, use it a few days, then decide if you still want the E9.

Someone else may suggest some good cartos. I can't cause I don't use them. Are you talking about prefilled cartos? Or the empty ones that you are going to fill yourself?

I have an E9 (KR808D-2) and a Joye 510....I love the E9 & hate the 510.
The E9 vapor seems more like the real thing.
The 510 is just a pita by my comparison.
I got mine from e-cig.com too.
They were great to me. Contrary to the sentiment on this board.
ECF is against their health juices.
I bought a Deluxe E9 Starter Kit. Comes with 12 filled cartos
Extra stuff: another usb charger, 3 long batteries, 30 blank cartos, usb passthrough.
Spend $100 and they ship free, but charge a small handling fee...from China to Indy in 3 days.
Bought Juice from Johnson Creek, Backwoods Brew, FSUSA.
I love the E9...great batteries, awesome vapor & TH, cartos can be refilled repeatedly and then tossed out when dead.

I think I want empty cartos if the taste of the ones that came with my kits is usual. I just don't know, too many models and suppliers has given this noob a migraine :)

I find that any cartomizer or atomizer, whether prefilled or empty and not brand specific, when NEW need a bit of prep or for the 1st few vapes to be just blown out and not inhaled. This will help in getting rid of the factory primer all of them have on the coil/filiment.

It's worked for me.

There are many different 510 type devices and batteries in the market now.... from the standard 510 batteries, to the mega's, to the E-Go, to the mods.

Unfortunately, your going to have to "research" them to find what YOU wish to achieve from any of them regarding function and asthetics. I suggest finding something that peaks your interests and look at the review sections for opinions on them. Then if you have more specific questions or concerns, to freely ask them on the forum.

As with anything.... there are many different "personal opinions" that are subjective to life style and expectations. The same is amplified with PV's (e-cigs), by contant releases of the "latest and greatest".

I can honestly say that with this new found hobby/life saver of ours that your 1st, 2nd, maybe even 3rd or more purchased devices, that most likely they will not be your last purchase as your desires change once you become more comfortable with the aspec of vaping in general. I think its safe to say that you already have seen this in the forum as vapers progress along their path.

Best wishes & VapeOn,
Greg
