I've browsed these forums for quite awhile and haven't quite found a response for my exact question (google searches mainly).

I am a heavy vaper. I'll vape over 800 button pushes a day. I recently bought a Lavatube 2.5 from Volcano Ecigs. Apparently though, it is designed for a higher resistance setup. I'm not thrilled with the tank/single coil (3.5 ohm) that it comes with, however some research has indicated the device won't work well for a LR coil.

Does anyone have a suggestion on a good tank/coil system that is in the 3.5ohm range that would be great for a heavy vaper?

I'm trying to stick with the pre-fab, coils ready to go setup as it is easier for me than having to build, but I'm trying to definitively figure out a good system.

Thank you

you can use the lavatube 2.5 on lr style tanks and coils. However there is a amp limit of I believe 3 amps. Not sure if they raised it more with the 2.5 version from the original lavatube 2's. if your going with a 1.5 ohm your highest voltage would be 4.5 volts which is 3 amps, which is 13.5 watts. Running a 3 ohm at 6 volts would have you just around 2 amps and wattage of 12.

If you are using the tank that came from volcano you can try using their 1.5 ohm carto's and see how you like those. sometime heavier vapers like a harder/hotter vape and more watt's will do be beneficial. I personally never liked anything over 1.8 ohm's, even with the basic starter stuff I always leaned toward lr options.
