Hey everyone, newbee on the forum but have been using the ecig now since start of the year.
I have the iberro "free yourself" unit and use the e liquid and the bungs to refill my cartridges.
Need some advice or alternatives on refilling these so I don't get leaking in the first instance (tastes awful) but still get a decent vape. For me its very much hit or miss. I fill the bungs with 2 or 3 drops and place end with small hole onto the bung then press down. Initially I take a draw almost expecting some leakage, but after a bit is good and vapes well. Keen to keep smoking this was so any advice from users would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Pete

Cartridges than press onto or into an atomizer and can leak. No way around that.

Most people use cartomizers for their favorite juices, and rarely use cartridges. But I don't know what model Liberro is. it is some Chinese model since rebranders make nothing except money.

I am not sure what you have nor what bungs are.

Here is a Liberro FAQ

Hello & welcome Pete,

Liberro is a UK seller & "Free yourself" is just part of their logo :) If you can let us know which Liberro model you have, we should be able to help you more :) I'm guessing it's a Realis & the "bungs" you are using are what are known here as the condoms ;D If so, it sounds like you are over filling your cartomisers.

Not all cartomizers can be filled with the carto condom. Some have internal seals to thwart refilling. And if you fill cartos that way they may leak. And some rebranders use crappy cartomizers that really only work well once.

When I fill a cartomizer I remove the end cap (the end cap is soft and easily removable on the cartomizers I use). Some cartomizers then have a a donut-shape seal inside that need to be removed (I don't use that kind). And then I tilt it and drip eliquid into the stuffing. I use thin eliquid (PG w/20% or less VG) so the the juice will soak easily into the stuffing and I hold a tissue against the threaded end hole. I stop when the cartomizer gets slow at soaking in. Then I do cleanup - I do everything I can to make sure it won't leak. (I clean the threaded end, then tilt the open end down and puff into the threaded end because the cartos I buy have a defined center air channel - I puff to make sure that is clear, then while the open end of the carto is still down I touch soft tissue to the top of the stuffing to sop up any loose juice). I still get and occasional tiny leak but not often.

I use Joye 510 manuals (sealed on the threaded end so very very safe from being damaged by juice leaks) with Boge 3 ohm cartomizers. The big fat battery models like Ego and Riva 510 can also use the Boge 2 ohm cartomizers. I also use some of the longer Joye 510 mega xl manual batteries.
See Liberty-Flights.co.uk and elsewhere

In the US it is also easy to get KR808D-1 models (Vapor4Life, Bloogplanet, SmokelessImage) and I use manual batteries with the cartomizers that sell. I don't know where this model is sold in the UK.

Review
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ig-starter-kit-review-yes-you-read-right.html

Apparently it is similar to Blu, probably the same L88b model, thread-compatible but electrically reversed from 510 (so never ever charge a 510 in the Liberro charger nor vice versa - will fry or melt the battery)

Buy decent cartomizers and fill them with the endcap off so you can see inside and clean them up so they won't leak. Try Boge 3 ohm 510 cartomizers. You should be able to get black Boge 3 ohm 510 cartos at Liberty-Flights.co.uk - buy one pack to make sure they fit. Do not buy the hotter 2 ohm ones - those are for big fat battery models only like Ego. If you search around elsewhere you may be able to find white or tan 3 ohms Boge cartos (but they are hard to find. In the US one shop sells those so they do exist).

Hey all thanks for the responses,:2cool: must’ve forgot to setup notifications so saw my own thread while search for info on this again ;)
Chrissie you absolutely right this is the ecig:
Buy Liberro™ Realis Electronic Cigarette Realistic All in One Starter Pack | Libero shop - £35.00
See the FAQ at the foot for my procedure with the "bungs"/"condoms"
At first this worked kinda OK but now even a small one drip fill seems to leak to some extent.
Bit worried about dormouse's information (cheers) so any advice on the right good carts to get would be appreciated.
Thanks for everyone’s info btw, super helpful and useful. P
