I have just bought the KGO. Been using the rn4081 for 3 years but I decided i am now tired of charging batts. Can anyone tell me things I need know about using the KGO,?
Do I still drip cartomizers or should I be using something else? Would appreciate tips on this, I read so many things that people use with the KGO but have no idea what they are, time for this dinosaur to move up.

The kgo is an ego and 510 threaded/compatible battery, so you can use anything with either of those connections. I'm currently using a carto tank (which is just a cartomizer housed in a tank to eliminate the need for dripping) on my vision spinner (which has the same connections as a kgo). But you could use dripping attys, cartos, clearomizers, carto tanks, rebuildables, or anything else with a 510/eGo thread. I would suggest a variety to see what you like, but that can tend to break the bank, so it's up to you.

Cartomizers are great. Why not try one in a cartotank and not have to worry about when to refill it? :)

I use the vivi nova which is not the most popular around here, but I am into cheap and longevity. I don't use tank cracker juices{ cinnamon/citrus} so the plastic is fine. The nova has top coil wicks and a warm vapor. I used the 3.5 ml tanks on the kgo because I only had to fill once a day. They take a bit of learning and the wicks can be rebuilt easily. Vision Slim Nova Tank 2.0ml There is also the mini protank with the bottom coil which has a cooler draw.

To get this right, I need punched cartos to use in the tank, correct? Now my questions are 1. What's the danger of juice getting to the battery?
2. What if you take off the tank with juice inside it, any dangers, leaking?
All videos I've seen are about putting the carto/tank together but not taking it apart.
3. What ohm carto is best with the KGO?

1. Yes you need a punched carto, I prefer Boge or Ikenvape with laser drilled holes. I get my boges from litecigusa, and ikenvapes from ikenvape
2. There are ways to replace the carto with the tank full, if you click my blogs to the left I have a blog entry about how to swap a carto with juice in tank. If you just pull the carto out of the tank your juice would pour out.
3. The KGO is a 4.2v mod, so I would probably just run a standard resistance or SR carto. The low resistance or LR would probably be prone to burning

Also as far as filling tank, priming cartos, etc. Both my blog and Baditudes blog carry more than enough info to do what you need. I believe I do things a little differently, but his methods are the more widely adopted methods that I am aware.

Also ive used just about every clearo out there, my carto tank still destroys them all, even the new aspire nautilus (however my rewicked protank is probably a very close second, but more work). I don't feel that its any more difficult to use than any clearo with my method of filling/replacing/etc.

Yep your right, I changed to my new MT B juice and noticed my carto was not primed properly and the hole wasn't wide enough, I did the method of covering the bottom and sucking thru the top, getting bubbles showing it was taking the juice, it does have more flavor and hit than the nova, I'm using the 6ml mega chrome smoke tech tank with pre punched smoke tech 2.0 single coil cartos, I did notice my kgo batt gets a little glitchy sometimes, the light flashes as if it's needs charging when it's full but it goes away after a couple of presses.
