I just started vaping 4 days ago purchased a basic Criss Cross starter to try vaping and see if this 33 year 2 pack smoker could reduce my smoking with it. In short I'm loving vaping but definitely need a much better unit. Any suggestions on a good unit that can handle a little bumping around in my pocket and has a good or decent throat hit to it. I'm a truck driver and in and out a lot any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

I'm a beginner….. but get a Kayfun lite plus clone (texas vapors select $50) and a MVP (eciggity $40) and you will have a setup that gives you killer flavor/ vapor, a big tank, and hours of battery time. You tube will show you how to make the coil and cotton wick. This is a very effective nicotine delivery system that is almost sure to get you off smoking (IMHO).

RBA's might be a little much for someone that's just starting out. Especially someone who's spending the vast majority of their time on the road. Get a couple tanks and a couple juices, along with a good batt and let it roll until you have a better idea of how much time you wanna put into this "hobby".

Under $100 APV's, I like the Sigelei V3/V5. Great quality, telescoping, very nice and reasonable. A lot in that package. If you are interested in high-end devices, then that is one of the smartest things you can do. The Provari is a fabulous device and certainly top end. Few other APV's can compete at that level. Get the mini. You can add extension easily later, often blinging out the Provari. For toppers, I like:

Clearos:
1. Nautilus
2. Aerotank
3. Protank

Carto Tank:
1. IBTanked
2. Phiniac
3. GP Snp

RTA's:
1. Kayfun (3.1 or Lite Plus)
2. Taifun GP
3. one of the above

I evolved from clearos to cartos to RTA's. I'm exclusively using RTA's and an occasional RBA (Origin or Taifun Dripper). Love the path and evolution I took. If I had to do it all over again, I would buy a Provari and Kayfun day one, learn to rebuild by watching YouTube tutorials, buys some 28/29 gauge kanthal and cotton wicking and DIY my juice (which I did do day one). My vape is excellent and very hard to improve, but I continue to pursue. Very, very happy in Vapeland these days. Good luck, power up and vape on!
