Advice requested...should I use or recycle this battery?

I accidentally tore the wrap on one of my batteries. To me, it appears as though it's only the pink part that is torn, but I am not certain. I don't have another battery to replace it with right now though, as the others are charging. Safe to use, or recycle it?

I would not use it.

I've never done it, but you can buy new battery wraps for next to nothing.

A bit of electrical tape well placed may get you by in a pinch, until you can get it re-wrapped. Cheers.

Sorry but
I do not think "scotch tape" will insulate it and keep it from shorting/arcing. Cheers.
