Was wondering if anyone has found out if using the new Aero base on a PT2 fixes the connection issues some people have. I have read here, and experience myself, PT2 needs to be not screwed down all the way on some MODS. Vamo V5 specifically, or the airflow is cut off. One solution is to back the tank off a bit, but many experience the tank becoming wobbly and worry about damaging the 510 threads on their MOD.

So anyone have this base and find they can now screw their PT2 all the way down?

Next question... Since the base of the PT2 works on the Davide tank, anyone have experience of the Aero base works on it? Much better look to this base over a standard smooth airflow controller.

As I posted in the other thread,

Bought one for my father since he got virtually no airflow when connecting the Protank 2 to the Nemesis. Received the item on Monday, attached it to his Protank 2 and it fixed the airflow issue completely. Now the airflow control is done by the new tank base instead of the airflow control on the nemesis. I also noticed that when my father used the Protank on the Nemesis without the new base, it would flood really easily due to the 510 connection holes being blocked and the only airflow is through the center pin hole, forcing the e-liquid to go through the hole because of pressure build-up caused by the lack of airflow. This is usually the most overlooked culprit for leakages.

Solid product overall but it does have one issue, the airflow control ring is sort of loose and will not stay in place. So if you were to carry it around in your pocket, the airflow control ring will most certainly change its position.

TLDR; Having some airflow issues with your device? Get the ACV (Airflow Control Valve aka Aerotank base) from Kanger, and it will fix it.

So it can be screwed all the way down without the worry of messing up the 510 threading or pushing the center pin down on the MOD?

I'm not too sure about the Vamo V5 but every device that I own has an adjustable center pin so it wasn't too much of a worry for me. I can't guarantee anything but it should sit flush on the Vamo.

Just got an Aero base today, I'm using it on a PT 2 with single coil head. Same experience as dokebilee so far. The air control ring moves too easily, but it seems to be a cure for the squashed insulator/ blocked airflow issue.
