I just received an AeroTank ... My problem is that it needs about 4.3v to work well. I found this out by setting the AeroTank on my Vision 'Spinner' adjustable voltage battery. 4.3-4.5v is really the sweet spot for the AeroTank.

The problem is, when you are using a Mechanical Mod (fixed voltage battery) like an 18650, the voltage on all of this type of battery is only 3.7v. That is just not enough to get the AeroTank vaping good.

The only solution I can think of is installing an Evolv 'Kick' in the Mechanical Mod in order to increase the battery voltage from 3.7 up to around 4.3 for the AeroTank ... or only use the AeroTank with an adjustable voltage battery.

Miata ... I am thinking your right.

The reason I bought the AeroTank is because I like that you don't have to rebuild the coils yourself everytime they burn out, and the replacement coil/wick assembly is pretty cheap.

Ideally, Kanger should offer the replacement coil cartridges for the AeroTank in various different ohms ... Right now all they offer for it is 2.0 ohms.

I too gave up on Kanger products before the Aerotank. I had nothing but problems with ALL of them before - too hard to draw, leaking, gurgling, etc... I've now had the Aerotank a few days and I'm really surprised. Adjusting the draw is easy and I've had no issues with gurgling etc. I think the issue with the Protanks was always related to draw; bad draw (for me) made me suck harder which ended up flooding everything inside. Big thumbs up for the Aerotank.
