Aerotank mini compatibility with Protank mini base & coils

I just received my Aerotank mini & have seen several post asking about compatibility of coils and base. I tried to post an answer but as I'm a new member I couldn't post there yet. So I just wanted to let anyone that doesn't already know that YES the base is compatible with your protank mini 2 or 3 (don't have a 1 to check it on) and YES you can use your protank single coils with it. I haven't found anywhere to buy just the base to upgrade my protank mini's so if anyone knows where I can purchase just the base please let me know.

Actually if I'm not mistaken the Aerotank Mini/Mega and Protank 3 only use the Kanger Dual Coil. The Single Coil only applies to Protank 1 and 2. Also if your looking for the Kanger Protank base heres a link....Kanger Protank Base for the Kanger ProTank, ProTank-II and ProTank-3 | Smoktek.com

I've seen the base for sale at MVS Kanger Airflow Control 2.0 - Mini

I though an extra gasket of some sort was needed to use a single coil head on the Aero mini or PT3? Some day I'll get around to trying it out myself.

Protank 2 (single coil) heads will fit into a protank3/aerotank (dual coil) but not the other way around.

Kanger recently standardized all current dual coil heads to fit all current PT3/aero style bases.

You can use single or duel coils on Protank 3/Protank 3 mini & the Aero tank mini. I've been doing it for 4 months because the single coils are easier to rebuild. You can't go backwards... Meaning you can not use duel coils on the Protank 1/2 or mini 1/2 but Kanger tanks that use duel coil can also be used with the single coil. That is all I've been using after the duel coils that came with my tanks burned out. I'm vaping on my Areotank mini with a single coil as I'm typing this
