I went ahead and pulled the trigger on one of these to check it out. I haven't used it a terrible amount because it is just for my boating\backup rig, but with the 1.5 ohm coil in it I put it on an MVP 2 cranked to 5v and chain vaped away on it with no burnt taste. I guess flavor was decent although I mostly drip, so I am spoiled there. Vapor production was solid. The airflow works quite well. Closed all the way off makes it super tight and all the way open is pretty loose. My wife has run through a couple tank fulls at 4v with no complaints. None of the gurgles etc. from some of the other Kanger tanks.

I just got one a few days ago and so far so good. I'm pairing it with an itaste vv 3 mainly for driving to and from work. Fits in the pocket better than the mvp2. Will probably get the mega as well. It does go through the juice it seems or I'm just not used to such a small tank. The AFC ring on mine is very snug. I wish it was a bit looser but maybe it will break in over time. Got it from MVS.

Can you tell me if the Aerotank Mini base is compatible with the Mini Protank 2, just like the original Aerotank base is compatible with the regular Protank 2? I think it's a great idea; I absolutely love the Aerotank base on my Protank 2's, but I think it is probably burning through juice fast because it is a dual coil (right?), and with a single coil like my PT2's, I get great performance that lasts a while (also, I don't want to have to buy different coils, as I already have a box of 50 single coils that should last me a long time).:vapor:

The old coils will work. According to reviews I've seen (including PBusuardo), the new coils are noticeably better, but the old ones do fit. Busardo said he mentioned in talking to Kanger that the new stye Mini/Mega coils looked a lot like the new Aspire coils, but was told by Kanger no, they are actually quite different. I personally agree, I think the taste is noticeably better on the new Kangers versus the Aspire. And so far, they haven't leaked at altitude on a plane like my dual coil Aspires have. (OTOH, I haven't had them on a plane yet, so I've got my fingers crossed. :) Anyone else having this issue -- tanks leaking on airplanes but not at other times?

New version replacement Kanger coils are not even available yet in any case, although the Aero Mini and Maxi both come with an extra coil.
