After just one day over one week over one month I’ve got my package from fasttech with an aerotank among other things. Before I have used iClears 16 and I like them. For a month my supply of spares was down to one coil, so while waiting for a package I used only very clear liquid, menthol. Surprisingly during this month I have not have to change a coil, it is still running strong and right now I am vaping with it.
OK. Back to aerotank. I got it on Friday night. I have a few liquids I got before I have learned that they are harmful to plastic tanks, such as absinthe and cinnamon, so I immediately started to taste them with my new tank. It was not bad, but too far from expectations. However I knew in advance that a problem could be a mouthpiece (too wide hole), so I have ordered another one in the same package as an aerotank. New mouthpiece helped, especially after I have tightened airflow, but still the overall impression was that I am getting a watered (aired) down vapor. It was like drinking watery Budweiser compared to a real beer. I changed a liquid to a one I have in iclear (menthol) for direct comparison of tanks. I have found out that I needed to raise wattage on aerotank, even though coils on aero and iclear were of the same resistance. After all this tinkering aerotank became a bit better thing than iclear, plus being made from steel and glass it can be used for any juices. Big minus: I have found out that during weekend with increased wattage I have vaped twice as much juice compared to as I did before. I am still not decided what will be my main tank and what will be a spare: aerotank or iclear 16. Or something else, but I do not want to collect more staff.
