Edit** im so sorry i didnt introduce myself 0.o . Im mitch im 20 in South Carolina . Iv been smoking for awhile kinda new to the vape scene but i love it . Just beginners problems i would call it.

Ok so im new here and new sorta to vaping so far i have a tesla mod vv/vw and 2 aerotanks. Now why two? Well because the dumb grommets on the air flow v2 control base by the 510 connector suck and the possitive touches negative therfore shorts out. I need new grommets but cant find any! I tried usuing one from a ego and from one of the coils but there to long :/ so i need a small grommet for the base 510 connector off the kangertech aerotank. Ill post a pic when i leave work here in a hour or so .

The best i can find is the grommets for the kanger coils but its not the coils! Its the actual base that screws into the battery

Maybe ill try to walk u threw it since i dont have mine with me and im not home .

1) unscrew aerotank from battery

2) tank off drip tip and place tank upside down so ur looking down on the 510 threads .

3) unscrew your air control base and remove coil

4) look down inside base and look at the post sticking up threw the bottom is it slightly tilted or straight up ?

5) flip it around and look very closely at the middle flat post inside the threads u should see a creamy white colored rubber grommet the insulates that positive post from the negative threads.

If you want u can use something like a pen to push it out from the inside but i dont recommend that since ur not having problems i wouldnt cause any lol and its a pain to get it back in ..

Hmm just my luck i guess . Maybe wen the shop gets new bases in ill buy one for $8 or so and look closely!!! Before final purchase .. So far 2 tanks 2 bad bases.. Pain in the rear end and honestly would have made me give up earlier but i have a little extra to swing around so might as well try as much as possible.

Thats the old base the new one has one hole and one large oval hole u adjust it with. On the inside theres 4 small holes and then one large oval hole . I always adjust mine so the oval shows 2-3 holes and the hole in the back is always open

So you have a new-new one. Here the original one I upgraded from

Ok i think i fixed it just shoved what ever grommet i had on me put a new coil in and its chucking! Love this coil!!! Solid 5.5v lots of smoke with little loss of flavor. 4-4.5v perfect flavor and vapor amount. I gatta say if i didnt get these coils in the mail today i probly would have givin up on this tank. It took alot of fidgeting with that bottom positive post and grommet but man was it worth it!
