I'm from central FL and have used my JoyeTech & eGo batteries with clearos & tanks, mods with tanks, etc. anything & everything in our summer FL sun with no problem. Use them while mowing my pastures for hours April-October, and catching some rays at the beach for the day mid-May through September...never a problem at all. At the beach, I just make sure it's not left out on my towel or something when I'm swimming. It's always covered up with my towel & in the shade of an umbrella then. I also never, ever, leave them in my car, especially in summer.

.....in the sun, what if the mod gets overheated ?!.. :(
I live in the sunshine factory (Tucson, AZ) last summer it was 117 a few times. 108-112 is normal. I used to carry my vape on a lanyard around my neck and never had a problem. But then I fell in love with the eVic VTC MINI and no place to attach a Lanyard.

I wouldn't worry about it, I live in SW Florida and we have no rules about vaping in the sun, though we do have one about not feeding the alligators :)
My istick60tc was fine in bright sun and the temp was 117 degrees last summer as I walked 1.4 mules each way to run an errand. Big change from Washington state but quickly becoming a desert rat.
