Received my AFS V3 cap today and might have a fit issue. Don't these replace the bottom cap of the AVS so that you can use them on a 901 mod (or any other with adaptor)?

AFSV3 all mods cap don't actually go on AVS, it should go on bottom of collector tank

I have the UFS, no problems with that. Sorry for the nomenclature mix-up. I got one of the very first AVS for GGTS, nickel plated with the collector tank. I assumed I could replace the GGTS-only bottom cap on the collector tank with the all-mods cap.
if you have the nickel collector tank it should fit the all mods cap. if you upgraded an older GGTS like #306 with an older aluminum collector tank, 4-in-1 adapter, adjustable draw cap, etc. then you'll need an updated collector tank for the all mods cap to properly thread on. i don't know if there is any real science to it, but i've noticed that my all mods caps only fit the collector tanks i have with the 4 air holes lined up in a row on one side, but not the ones with the four air holes spaced out around the tank. check with imeo or bruce if you know you have a newer tank and the cap doesn't fit, because there are collector tanks available to fit those caps.

But I thought if I am thinking of what ya have, It should work, I think I know someone else that did the same as you, but that doesnt mean that maybe it just isnt fitting right on your unit....

It's almost like they have different threads. The cap acts like it wants to start threading, but just wont...not even a quarter turn.

yeah it won't thread into those. you need a replacement collector tank with the four holes lined up like this one or this one. these are out of stock at COV, but originally they were being given out to those with older tanks who purchased the all mods cap. talk to imeo or bruce about getting a replacement tank for that cap and you'll be all set.
OK. It'll have to wait until after the weekend, since Bruce is at Vapefest. Actually, it will have to wait until they're in stock again. Damn, let the waiting begin again.
