After 1 Week...

Having received my Joye eGo and Vapor Station sampler for Christmas, I am happy to report that vaping has replaced more than 1/3 of my analogs! Thanks to the very helpful folks on this forum, the process has been much easier. Last night I did my first atty cleaning (blowing out, rinsing, burning it out, repeating), and my first clogged-up atty is performing well again. Ordered a few spare atties as advised, and just received my first order from Johnson Creek - enjoying the Swiss Dark right now, and looking forward to the French Vanilla and Tennessee Cured...

Thanks to everyone for their help, and for all the great info here - this is the most promising and enjoyable path to get away from smoking!

Congrats on giving up some of the cigs! Do you enjoy blowing, rinsing and burning out atomizers? Personally, it's not fun for me to carry around a sack of "works" and extra parts everywhere I go. I just want to pull out a freshly charged batt, screw on my carto, and I'm set for the day. For the cost of one those temperamental atomizers, I can get a half dozen full cartomizers that work better, and when they're done, you just throw them in the trash.

I am definitely going to experiment with some cartomizers soon - right now, I am mostly at home over the holidays, so fortunately dripping and taking some time out to clean an atty isn't much of an inconvenience - but I will definitely need a more portable option as I get out of the house more and more...Can you recommend a good source of cartos for the eGo? Can I fill them with whatever eliquid I want?

Since these Johnson Creek juices arrived earlier today, I think the eGo is replacing even more analogs - I started a new pack this morning, and see only three butts in the ashtray! I work at home, and I would usually have gone through a half pack by now...
