After 15 months of being out of work, I think I'm finally getting hired.

I had been getting pretty depressed after not finding any work for so long. After I lost my last job, I agreed to move with my girlfriend back to her home town (more of a village) in the middle of ohio. Work is scarily difficult to find, and what work there is seems to be primarily factory work with minimal pay, remnants of a dying auto industry. It's been... tough.

Tomorrow I go for a drug screening at an employer. Already had two interviews and a background check. I don't have an offer in my had at the moment, but they're starting to spend money on me with the background and drug screening... that's a very good sign. Those who work there say this is the final step.

If I do get this job, such a weight will be lifted off my shoulders... it's not a ton of money, but enough. Long drive, but hey. Details.

I was really losing hope there for a moment....
