Hello everyone!

This is my very first post on ECF.
I've struggled with smoking since age 14 (44 years!).
I started using the Joye 510 three weeks ago, and immediately reduced my smoking by 30%.
I purchased an eGo C the following week and reduced my smoking by another 30%.
After a week with the eGo, I quit smoking 100%!
Tomorrow marks two weeks that I've liberated myself from tobacco - and I'm NEVER going back!
I LOVE vaping! I've never been happier, nor have I felt this healthy or self-confident in ages!
I'm grateful to the the retailer who helped me to get things started (Vicky at Cignot) to vaping community, and especially to this wonderful forum!
Congratulations to me!

That's fantastic. It's great to hear these kind of success stories. I've had my KGO since last week. Smoked my last cigarette at 10:00 Saturday morning, so I'm 5+ days without one, and I really don't want one. When I get the urge now and then, I just vape a bit and I'm good.

Best of luck to you, and welcome to ECF.

Welcome JerryB and congrats! 2 weeks is a huge milestone. I have found after 2 weeks of no cigs they smell bad. I noticed my car stunk. Go get it professionally cleaned. Go to the dentist for a cleaning. I'm serious. Round up all your ashtrays and lighters and dispose of them. You don't need them anymore. Good job Jerry, it's not easy but stick with it. I did and I'm not ever going back.

No, no, no...you still need the lighters to fire up the charcoal (summers coming) and the ashtrays hold a lot of filled cartos (clean ashtray of course) ..... the car, I ended up buying a new one...:D

Woooo hoooo!!! Congrats and welcome!! I smoked for 23 years, started at 14 too. Heaven help me, I still can't figure out why I did, but getting free was a constant losing battle ever after. Every quit failed... this vaping thing has changed my whole world, and after three months I am even more in love with it. I was as thrilled as you in the beginning, but trust me... it just keeps getting better. :D

Congrats and Welcome from another 40+ year smoker. I've been tobacco free for 2 months and it still amazes me.

Now that you've been away from it for awhile my only piece of advice is to refuse that first cigarette. Refuse to smell like an ashtray again. Just refuse to let tobacco back into your life. Don't test it to see if you can handle it or to see what it tastes like now, just refuse to go back.

Best of luck to you and don't be a stranger around here.

Wow! If quitting tobacco wasn't enough, meeting all of you thoughtful individuals is the bonus reward!!!
THANK YOU ALL for your kindness, congratulations and good wishes! Seems like people who quit smoking are nicer than those who never smoked! Perhaps there's a correlation... an evolved personality as a result of personal achievement!
I'm so happy to be a part of this wonderful community!!!
