Ok, I got the eGo kit, charged up the bats and started vaping a day and a half ago. I was smoking about 1 1/2 to 2 packs of analogs a day. I have not smoked a single analog since I got the kit! This is a big accomplishment for me. Very happy with the eGo.

I do seem to have a small issue getting a consistent draw. One time a slow, steady draw gives me good TH and "burn", next time with the same draw and it is too light. Sometimes a harder draw works better.

Thanks for all the info on the forum. I would have wasted a lot of money without it.

Congrats. I'm on day 8 without tobacco, at first it seems hard but the days pass quickly. If you feel yourself craving a cig just vape until you can't vape anymore lol. I smoked for 16 years and it feels incredible to finally have the demon of tobacco off my back.

37 year (2 pack/day) smoker here....ashamed to admit it.

I'm a month into no analogs and keep an old half pack sitting on my patio so I can see them. No way I'll pick one up now.

When I first quit analogs, I kept some 36mg juice to kick the urge down into the dirt.

I had a hard time getting things to work consistently too. Vaping isn't like smoking, it takes a little practice to get it to work right. Are you using carts, carto's or dripping?

I bought a bunch of prefilled carts, Marlboro 24mg, and some of the same liquid, so I am re-filling the carts. Seems to work better just after a re-fill.

Cart's don't hold a lot of juice so you'll need to keep it topped off. Take about 5-8 drags, then refill. That's what worked best for me. I recently switched to carto's (cause I ran out of cart's) and they'll work for a lot longer between refills. Cart's seem to have better draw and flavor than carto's but are a bit less convenient.

A "carto" is a cartomizer?

Also seems the whistle-tip carts may work better than the round for some reason. Maybe too early to know for sure.

Ok. I think I am getting this. What seems to be working now is 1. refill often and 2. remember proper inhalation technique, slow, long draw. With these 2 things it seems to be working much better.

My wife is also a smoker and want to vape, so I am trying to get this down to something simple that I can prep for her. She is not patient enough to fiddle with something all day, she will just grab an analog.

Cartos may be the best way to go.
