And to say to someone that's probably never seen them that they're like a flashlight is pretty misleading. The ego with the 750 mah battery is the same size as a KR808, just a little fatter. It's smaller than the KR808 with XL batteries.

I wasn't talking about the egos I was talking about the mods that use the 1800mAh+ batteries. I'm still working on finding the right atti/carto for my 5v mod. I probably should have got something with vv but I don't play with equipment like I used to. Every now and then when I'm drinking I get them all going. :) When I leave the house I walk out with my volt, though.

If your happy that's great. If you want a big battery automatic, the go go and echo are 1100 mah batteries and they come in automatic. The cartomizer that comes with them holds 3.5 ml of juice and are meant to be cleaned and reused. They say 100 refills. Just something to think about if you're ever looking for a new kit. I think Cropduster has them for about $45.

Nomad 808 (Janty stick) - $24.95 : Cropduster901!, Home of the B-52

I agree that it shouldn't be a problem to use a larger bat in the car (or truck). The original post said he liked the "feel of analogs" or something along those lines. The larger batteries are a heavier and more difficult to lazily (is that a word) let hang out of your mouth while driving.

You have to do what you need to do. Anyway you get to the non-smoking part is a win.

My mom needed a pv look-alike. It got her vaping and that's what counts. She now uses what I use but it took her about $200 to get there.

Ok, I agree. using the minis isn't the most economical for sure.

Have you actually tried one of the newer 808s either the volt, bloog or halo? I understand that the old cig style ecigs were junk and did not give you much throat hit. But the volt and bloog specifically since I have tried both put out an incredible amount of vapor and throat hit. I have sitting here beside me 6 (that I can see) 1000mAh+ batteries and a 5v box mod along with 1.25ohm dual coils, ce2, tank atties, regular atties, mega dual coils and probably some other stuff that I've forgotten about and the thing I reach for is my volt. The new 808 stuff is good, I'm telling ya :)

Yeah, I tried one at a vape meet and it seemed "weak" in throat hit in comparison to both my variable wattage Darwin and my 5 volt PV. Plus, the person's I used told me he changed batteries every hour to an hour and a half. With my Darwin which has boost circuit technology that negates battery drain, I get 21 hours of charge time and consistent, great throat hit for the entire 21 hours. So I have to assume you would agree that I would not want to change to a Volt.
