Haha ya what can I say, I revert to my gnarly beach-loving ways when I get excited.
I've seen Fast Times a few times, tho it came out a couple years before I was born. That being said, I was born and raised about 5-10 minutes from the beach and my parents were "mellow mood" Californians
I probably say awesome more times a day than any other adjective
EDIT: Oh and ya I sound like Crush most of every day haha, I actually type in much more proper English than I speak. "And I was like Whoa! and you were like whoa..."
