After lengthy search, need help

I have read about the blue foam mod and the Fluval. I understand you can get the fluval at Petsmart and are polishing pads.
But where do you buy the blue foam locally? Is it also an aquarium thing that I could also get at the pet store?
If so what do I buy exactly? Much thanks in advance from a newbie.

+2 for petco. They had them on sale a little while ago too. If your gonna go the cart mod route try the blue foam dart, high ping or spring mod.

Found the high ping, but nothing on the blue foam dart or spring? Also the pic of the blue foam is small can't read what type it is exactly. So what is it called at petco? Thanks so much for the help.

yes it comes from the pet store...

it's actually made by marineland..called bonded foam sleve for H.O.T. magnum casister style filters... and the size is rite size U...

Thank you all so much! This helps a lot. Wow this forum is huge. I find something then can't find it again lots of sub forums and TONS of great info. Too bad, I just found the social part and they have meet on the 10th and I am working, bummer.
