I've been smoking for 17 years. I never really did like the smell and never "french inhaled" and had an aversion to smoke of any kind going up my nose so I always felt like I had somewhat preserved my sense of smell. Boy was I wrong. Today (day 10) I heated up some leftover pizza, and as I was eating, I though, "Wow, that black olive is good." Then, "Man, that's a good mushroom." That was when I realized how much of my sense of smell smoking had taken away and vaping had given back. That's the "fun" part.
The "serious" part is how much better I can breathe after only 10 days. Now, I was never one of those "deep inhalers", so I always convinced myself I wasn't doing *quite* as much damage to my lungs (funny what you can justify). Now, even if I exhale very deeply and fast, I don't have that smoker's rattle to my lungs. I know this sounds gross, but I had forgotten what it was like to have a "non-productive" cough. It's great!!!
I've been telling all my smoking friends they need to make the switch. Some are surprisingly resistant (I don't pressure them, after all, two weeks ago, I WAS them), but others are interested. vaping is great!!
