Hello folks

Just got anEGO-C in the mail. I was looking and the atomizer heads were covered in some kind of greese or oil... I of course smelled it (has a weird smell) but paid no attention to it.. anyway I put the atomizer head in and assembled everything. I popped the carriage in and took a puff. There was a weird after taste... i french inhaled the vape smoke and it smelled exactly like the oil. ..

After me and my friend took a total of about 20 hits the weird after taste remained. I took the atomizer out and wiped it down with a paper towel and put it back in, but its Still there. I just let it go and figured it would fade after some use.......

It's now a few days later and its the same... is this support to happen? Am I doing something wrong??? Its totally killing my vibe, lol.

The vinegar maybe ok to use but do not leave something like a glass ProTank in the vinegar because it will ruin the silicone. I learned the hard way, just like I have to do everything else. I prefer Everclear for all my cleaning. You can let them sit in denture tablets over night and rinse and dry in the morning. I know several people do this. Good luck to ya and welcome to the forum.

Anytime I get a new product, I take it apart, with my spring water dispenser I fill a coffee cup half way with boiling water, and put in a quarter cup of vodka. I wash all the parts off with dish soap, rinse them in the tap and place them in the hot coffee cup. I leave them in there until the water is room temperature. I remove all parts, wipe them down really well, and inspect them for elements that remain. You will be surprised at the amount of oils and junk to include rust come off of the items. This goes for high end parts and cheap clone parts. Be safe, vaping machine oil can really make you sick.

Buy a new head, don't be vaping something that has an odor to it. Go down to your local vape shop and buy a pack of heads for like 5 bucks.

If he's talking about the ego-c atomizers they're not cheap. That's what I started with and I was paying almost $30 for 5 atomizers. To the OP: I recommend you try out something like an evod. I started with an ego-c setup and had nothing but issues with the stupid expensive atomizers. I finally got fed up and tried out an evod clearo and loved it. They hold more, the coils are MUCH cheaper and they're much better/easier to use.

.... damn i've been smoking the machine oil.......
I had no clue you could put these things in water.

I feel fine, so should I just go on, or do I need to worry?

also I found some vadka in my kitchen covard, is it ok if I just soak it in vodka??

I love the misspellings after you found the vodka...do you have enough left to use for cleaning? LOL
