Dry burn smell/taste reduction?

Hey guys,

I've now successfully rebuilt and dry-burned one of my atomizers a couple of times, and each time the vapor production and flavor is vastly improved... the flavor takes awhile, as the first 30 puffs or so have that horrible dry burn taste to them. It subsides after awhile, but I'm curious if anyone has any tips for removing it faster? I've tried rinsing the atty in distilled water one more time after dry-burning, then blowing out again, but the smell/taste persists until I've run some juice through it...

Any ideas? Should I let it soak longer? I'm loathe to put my atomizers in alcohol or vinegar or anything like that... I worry that distilled water rinses could be corrosive enough, I don't want anything harsher going in there...

Thanks in advance!
