So my gennies have been a hit-or-miss affair. After watching some videos, I realized that my wicks were suffering from anorexia. I needed to fatten them up. Also, wrapping the coil after the wick is placed into the atty, directly on the wick. My hands have a bit of arthritis, and i really didn't know how i was going to be able to roll alot of mesh to fit into the wick hole.
I played with paper during my downtime at work. Started the roll on a wooden applicator stick, using my desk as a surface, rolling the paper like you would roll a pie crust or pastry, away from me, picking it up, and rolling away again. I took the applicator stick out and kept rolling, making the paper into a little stick.
When I got home, I made a fat wick for the Aga s, which i bought to take to work and out, since the whole device is steel and therefore durable.I rolled the mesh on a rough plastic cutting board.Then picked up wick and finished w my hands. I did the oxidation and juice burns, put the atty together c wick inside. Wound the coil. Did the teasing out of hot spots. Applied juice and burned it off alot. About an hour or so later vaped my little steamer.
Works great on an Ego Twist @3.6 volts.1.95 Ω 4 wraps 32 Kanthal.
