AGA-TD running one coil

So after using iclear 16s and spinner batteries to get off analogs back in January. I got tired of the gurgling and loose tanks. So i picked up the M-Vari stick and aga-td from myvaporstore.com played with a couple of coil set ups with good results but not what i want so i finally took two, 2mm silica wicks wrapped in s.s mesh and wrapped the coil with a little bit of the silica above the coil. Plugged the other coil hole with cotton and WOW. 1.8ohms at 4volts. great taste, good vapor, and no issues with wicking. I keep an iclear30 at 2.1ohms as back-up. but right now my aga is primo

I'm running cotton wick and a 1.2 ohm single coil in AGA-TD. My TD has a single air hole setting. I think early models only had dual air hole settings. UD makes some nice toppers.

yea i plugged one of the air holes with a little modeling clay so i can open it back up if i decide to go dual coil

I just rebuilt my AGA-TD.
1 ohm Horizontal Coil about 1 mm from air inlet. Cotton wick. Plugged every air hole except big one w/ tooth pick. Haven't thought about clay, does it stay put? It is vaping better than IGO-L now. The fresh coil does give an edge but it is still impressive from such a large chamber topper.

yea i use an oil base clay it will not dry out

I sourced from the medicine cabinet. Krogers cotton balls of who knows what vintage. Boiled em thrice and they are spectacular.

I gave CVS rolled sterile cotton a go but no bueno.

OK thanks, the holes so big in the middle of the T3 I might need to use a tampoon. Ha!
