Aga t-2 help.

Just received my AGA, not set it up yet, due to the fact the top cap seems to have been screwed on by some sort of man-bear.
I'm about ready to take a pair of pliers to it, but don't really want to ruin the finish.
Any ideas?

When you say "top cap" are you talking about the top cap that has the air flow hole in it that your drip tip fits into? If so it doesnt screw on, its a push on held with rubber o-rings. Just pull it straight up to get it off...

Haha, noob mistake. My drippers unscrew there, so I assumed this would too. Still, I had to wedge a knife in to pop it off.

I have to rock mine back and forth while pulling when it is clean. A little juice on the o rings will keep it from sticking as bad. Better too tight than falling off!
