I just got my first genesis style system and have created my first wicks and coils. So far I got it working, only issue is with the wicking, I am using ss mesh 400, and must of the time I get dry hits I guess because of the wick getting dry quickly, if I tip my provari upsidedown and give it a couple of seconds then I don't get a dry hit.
What could I do to improve my wicking?

Keep doing what you're doing, and tilt it when you're taking a drag. You'll find you need to do it less and less as the wick breaks in.

And, like simhaw suggested, make sure there's another hole for air to get into the tank. Without an air hole you'll be creating a vacuum that makes it harder for juice to make it up the wick.

:thumb: This. The wick is the toughest part of building an RBA in my opinion. I frequently tip mine, and it does improve the juice flow to the coils.

There's a huge thread with great advice specifically for the AGA here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/rebuildable-atomizer-systems/369429-has-anyone-tried-aga-tiamat-plus-w-glass-tank.html

Once you get your required 5 new member posts completed, and wait for the system here to reboot (about every hour), you'll be able to post questions anywhere on the forums.

Good luck.

Hopefully it will go away. Try getting a smaller size drill bit to fit in your wick hole. Or drill it out and get a larger bit. Wrap the mesh around that and make sure it fits. This gives you a large hole for juice to get through your wick. You still need to tip it but you will notice a huge difference. Also wrap your coils tight not loose to where theres gaps between the mesh and the coil. That was my error when first making coils. Wrap it tight around the mesh/drillbit then place it onto the aga and pull out drillbit

what size drill bit do you use?

also what mesh wicks best?
