just chiming in, but 1.9ohm on a standard 32 gauge 5/4 wrap sounds a bit low on the ohm's. im running a twisted 32 gauge at 1.2ohm's with a 5/4 wrap. untwisted it should be around 2.4 ohm's. i would check to make sure there is no shorts. take the wick out and ohm test again it should be the same as with the wick installed. if not your wick is causing a short which will also hinder power to the coil and can help kill the battery a bit faster

that's my thinking Ive fooled with the wick over and over again lol i think I'm still getting a short somewhere since I'm new to the ss wick. I'm almost positive there's a short form the coil to wick when its burnt dry it starts to heat then stops and the vamo gives a low ohm reading so as it heats the resistance drops ill be darned if i cant find the short though lol

make sure there is no juice in the tank as a wet wick will hide shorts caused by the mesh. fire in pulses of 2 seconds, looking carefully for a evenly lit coil, its okay if the two end legs are not as bright as the center. also make sure there are no little lightning bolt looking marks on the mesh when firing. if thats the case there is a short where the bolt meets the coil.

hope this helps

I prefer 1.2 ohm but can live with up to 1.6 ohm.
With stock AGA-T2 air hole I like coil about 1 mm from air hole inside cap.
Twisted 30GA kanthal 3/32" ID.
Dual cotton ball wick.
