This is the first time i try to rebuild coil for AGA T2 Atomizer .
i used kanthal wire 30G , I wrap the coil away from atomizer over drill tip 3 mm , by forming 5 wrap ,
it was even wrap and good looking , then i connected it to positive and negative pin in atomizer then fire it ,
its glow evenly , no hot spot.
but the problem is ohm reading , it reach to 5.2 ohm the i try to adjust it and space it ,
the resistance swings between 4.1 ohm till reach 7 ohm , its too high reading for 5 wrap i think.
i torched the coil before use it .
im sure some thing wrong , it must range around 1.8 ohm as i think ,
any help to configure the problem will be appreciated .

Single coil might be the issue, take a paper clip, bend into a hook, put in drill, take kanthal (double length), fold in half, hold with pliers on one end, hook other end on drill, spin it till its all twisted up, torch that, build your coil with that.

30ga twisted at 8 wraps should be in the 1.5 ohm range

thanks for reply , i will try it .
but why i get high resistance reading , is that because wide diameter of coil wrap , i intend to wrap coil around 3 mm silica wick .

Make sure everything is tightened down, center positive pin nut and the screw on the deck

I find 32ga twisted does better at giving me resistances closer to 2.0 ohm (but I also run a kick on all my mechs so I can't go below 1.3 or it won't fire)

Oh yes, I had that issue with mine too, and it's the main reason I got an RSST. Ohms creep is really bad on that AGA, and I found those tiny little nuts on the positive post come loose very easily, and they area real pain to deal with. If you try to tighten that top one the post will turn in the insulators, so you never get it tight enough that it won't come loose during vaping and the heat in the atty.

It's just not a well designed rba. If you can find a way to replace that positive post or modify it with a spring capture for the positive lead that would remedy the problem, but it's less bother and not expensive to just get an RSST.

try a smaller diameter, or wrapped too tight?
