AGA T2 What am I doing wrong?

I keep having problems with hot spots at the top and on the top lead. I have tried loosening that top screw and tightening it down. I am about to see if wrapping the coil looser helps(sp?). Any suggestions are welcome.

Hmmm...I don't know a bunch about RBAs but its got metal components, could the top of the bottom be getting a charge their not suppose to?

Angle the wick closer to the center post. Adding a small washer between the two nuts will help out.

Make sure you have even coil spacing and no kinks in the wire. I have an AGI, so it is the same thing but with rda capability too. I like to wrap my coil with the wick already in it. That leave less chance of my coil getting messed up by putting the wick in through it.

Is it likely to be too loose rather than to tight?

Take a look in this article. It has a link to Zen's tutorial for the ZAP for Provape (best video I've seen about coils and hot spot elimination) and a couple of other videos on trouble shooting coils.
