I was wondering if anyone has found a good solution for getting rid of the spring in the positive post section of the AGI. I really like the way the AGI looks and it works pretty well as a dripper, but as a genny I'm not getting the power I want to the coils because of that silly spring in the center post (What the heck were they thinking with that!?!). Anyways it seems like it should be an easy fix but I have no idea where I would get brass or copper tubing that small. Has anyone come up with an easy fix for this?

I think they did this so the glass tanks would not have to be exact in size or something..
but yeah..totally agree with all you said..i like this thing aswell..on a VV it is not a real problem
but i hope someone found a solution for this..
I guess a little metal rod the right size should do it..going to experiment with this

i found a little brass screw in my jar of nuts&bolt that just screwed right into the the spring..
cut off the screwhead and...wow

the difference is really amazing..

the longer heatup time is gone..eating clouds now!

i found a video here of a guy who used a part of n old clearomizer..
